An

Inconvenient

Truth

In 2000, the IPCC issued its third

report on climate change, saying

that global warming, unprecedented

since the end of the last ice age, is

“very likely,” with highly damaging

future impacts.

In 2006, Al Gore weighed in on the dangers of global warming with the debut of his film An Inconvenient Truth.

Politicization over climate change, however, would continue, with some skeptics arguing that predictions presented by the IPCC and publicized in media like Gore’s film were overblown.

the greenhouse
update

In the year 1850 when C02 levels were at 315 ppm. Presently, levels have surpassed a whopping 400 parts per million (ppm).

Population update - 7.2 Billion people and counting. With that much increase in human numbers also means Co2 levels have risen substantially.
